Fathers Day and a Late Night Snack

So I thought that in light of it being Fathers day today I would take a few minutes to express my feelings for what my daddy means to me. I know that if you ask anyone they would tell you they have the best parents or the best dad in the world, but I really do! Some of my fondest memories growing up with my dad were when he would every night read us a Dr. Seuss book.

Anyways we had a fun day celebrating Fathers Day, after dinner we gathered in the living room and basically spent the rest of the evening watching old family videos and laughing at funny memories.

Then just about an hour ago; Kristal, Erica and I decided we wanted to make a late night snack because we were still hungry. Our choice of snack? Popcorn. So we have two popcorn makers. one that's like a pot and you set on the stove with the kernels inside and you manually turn the knob to mix the kernels; and mine, where you just dump in the kernels and plug the maker into the wall.

So we thought about this for probably about a good  1 or 2 minutes then we decide that my popcorn maker was our best option 1) because it didn't require a stove and 2) because it was the quietest and we could use it in the bedroom. So here are some pictures from the days events! :

Little Birdy!

We got a little momma robbin building a nest in our backyard!

Okay so for a good portion  of the day I played Uno with Kristal, Erica, Jake and Mommy.

At first it was just Kristal and I playing and I won the first game!The winning card you ask? a red 9.

She still ended up winning the second game with a wild!

So later in the day somehow somebody came up with the silly idea that we should all put on fun hats, get a deck of cards poor ourselves some red Koolaid and pretend like we was in an old wild west bar playing BS. We even made up names for ourselves. 

It was fun in the moment, but even now I feel silly sharing it with everyone :) Buy hey, we are all kids at heart and kids do silly things all the time. Here are some of the pictures from our old west adventure!

Daddy Daughter Date/S'mores

Today I got to spend a couple of hours with my daddy! We went to Best buy where we had lots of fun and I bought my own cute little external hard drive, 

and played with a few tablets. Then we went to Costco, bought a few groceries and came home. 

Then later tonight we made s'mores as a family in the little fire pit we have in the back yard. Good Day!
