Happy day...AgAiN!

Today was kind of an interesting, fun, exciting and painful day. Lately I have been going through a migraine cycle again. After I woke up this morning with a headache, I called in sick to work. I then went and got a haircut,which was painful but I had to do because the coupon I had expires tomorrow.

After I got home, I could hardly walk straight. I go in bed and decided to have a movie marathon. I started off with Sabrina ( 1995 with Harrison Ford!). After that I looked for something on Hulu. I then ended up watching half of second episode of The Event from the first season. I got halfway through and then got bored. So then I watched National Treasure because lately I've been feeling an action movie! Later tonight I made kettle korn, went to Stacia's and we watched the premier for Psych season 7. Intense!

Anyways, despite headaches and what not; today was a good day!

Okay funny story: So today I was at school. Today I mostly helped the kids with their seat-work and other stuff. At one point when I was across the room, one of the boys asked me a question (almost shouting across the room). He asked me," Miss Karla, how do you spell six."
 I stopped for a second what I was doing and then asked him again what word he wanted me to spell, He said again " How do you spell six." It was really funny because the first couple times he asked me how to spell six I though he had said "Miss Karla how do you spell SEX?"
 Finally I understood what he had said and was asking me; how on earth to spell SIX not sex. I told him how to spell six, then I ran over to Kris, told he what happened and we both had a laughing fit! then she said " Oh yeah please don't tell them how to spell that, they'd probably be scarred for life! Anyways it was really funny and we had a good laugh about it!

Happy Day!

Okay so here are the things that made me happy today:

* This month, it is our wards job to clean the church on Saturdays.  I always go to help clean the church. So I went to help clean the church and afterwards we got cake and donuts, (cake because yesterday was Bishop's birthday and we sang to him).
* I bought a new pillow today
*I finished all my homework for the week five minutes till four, which I think on record is the earliest I have ever finished finished my homework.
* Tonight our ward had a service auction. It was lots of fun! I ended up bidding on lots of things. In the end I won a little box of hand-dipped truffles, which are just heavenly. I also won a plate of brownies! yup it was definitely an awesome day!
